I have 13 variables that all fall under one construct. For each variable, responses range from 1 (daily) to 6 (I don't know). I want to figure out what percent of respondents report either 1, 2, 3, or 4 for each of my variables. I have attempted to create an If statement, but it is not giving me what I need.

Part of my output:
COMPUTE filter_$=(TechUse1 <= 4 | TechUse2 <= 4 |

Thanks!

you save each variable as a column
enter each person's response in that column
and i think descriptive statistics (analyse >>descriptive statistics >> frequency) should give you what you want.
