Boxplot Blues...

Postby nathan.grant » Thu Feb 28, 2013 2:49 pm

Hi all,

I am having some difficulty getting SPSS to provide me with a boxplot that matches the desired output.

What I have is SPSS v20. I am trying to create a simple boxplot with summaries for groups of cases using a variable from a survey called "travel expenses" and the institution the respondent is from on the category axis.

The problem I am having is that the output for the boxplot is labeled 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 on the y-axis and I want it to reflect the values I chose in variable view, which are 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4. How do I do this so that the boxplot more accurately represents my data?

I think I solved my own problem, but if anyone out there knows any tricks - I'm all eyes and ears.
