Automate output in Excel

Postby endri81 » Tue May 29, 2012 7:31 am

Hi
I have several SPSS variables for which I have to calculate frequencies and then show them as table in Excel file.
Is there any way to automate this process in order for each variable to have its frequency table output in a single Excel sheet.

For example if variables V1 V2 V3...
I need to have frequency table for V1 in sheet1 frequency table for V2 in sheet2 in the same Excel file.

Best regards

The Excel export does have syntax so add that to your freq syntax, that's about as automated as you can get without getting into macros for which I can't help
See the note below
