Removing value labels with a syntax

Postby surveyprogrammer » Fri Oct 17, 2014 2:43 pm

Hi, all.

I do hope you are all fine!

I have searched through the net but could not find a solution so it will be great if you have something for me.

Here is a mock-up of what I'm trying to do:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1q-PX ... sp=sharing

I want to remove certain value definitions with a syntax.
Using the "Remove" button will not do for me because I have around 500 value labels, moreover this reformatting of data will not be used only by me and I would like this to be an automatized process.

I am trying to avoid defining the value labels anew, is there any other way?

Thank you in advance!

Best,
Slavi

Never done this before, but this looks promising:

Thank you for this. I had had it found already, unfortunately I'm looking for a traditional-syntax option :( Reason is - it will not be used only by me and requesting an install of Python essentials to dozens of computers would not work at least for now.
