From SAS to SPSS

Postby wiibtr » Mon Jan 12, 2015 4:44 pm

Hello everyone,

How can I translate the equivalente of a "call symput" SAS in SPSS?
For example I have the following SAS PROGRAM: "data _NULL_; set TAB;
Call Symput(compress("proba_"||_N_),proba);
run;"

That puts into the macro variable "proba" the value of the variable "proba", followed by its line's number.

Thus, if I call the macro variable !proba_3 , this will return the value of the variable proba at line 3.

THANK you.
