Looking for the P-value in mean comparison. Syntax

Postby bram1988 » Sat Jul 11, 2015 9:08 am

I'm trying to find the p values for these mean scores.

See attachment.

Pairwise Comparisons
Dependent Variable: Evaluation Mean score
Transgression Type (I) CSR Manipulation (J) CSR Manipulation Mean Difference (I-J) Std. Error Sig.a 95% Confidence Interval for Difference a
Lower Bound Upper Bound
product no CSR CSR -,031 ,299 ,918 -,621 ,559
CSR no CSR ,031 ,299 ,918 -,559 ,621
ethical no CSR CSR -,410 ,291 ,162 -,985 ,166
CSR no CSR ,410 ,291 ,162 -,166 ,985
Based on estimated marginal means
a Adjustment for multiple comparisons: Least Significant Difference (equivalent to no adjustments).

Syntax:

DATASET ACTIVATE DataSet7.
UNIANOVA Eva_mean BY Ethical1 CSR1 WITH Gender01 Nl01
/METHOD=SSTYPE(3)
/INTERCEPT=INCLUDE
/PLOT=PROFILE(Ethical1*CSR1)
/EMMEANS=TABLES(Ethical1) WITH(Gender01=MEAN Nl01=MEAN) COMPARE ADJ(LSD)
/EMMEANS=TABLES(CSR1) WITH(Gender01=MEAN Nl01=MEAN) COMPARE ADJ(LSD)
/EMMEANS=TABLES(Ethical1*CSR1) WITH(Gender01=MEAN Nl01=MEAN) COMPARE(Ethical1) ADJ(LSD)
/EMMEANS=TABLES(Ethical1*CSR1) WITH(Gender01=MEAN Nl01=MEAN) COMPARE(CSR1) ADJ(LSD)
/PRINT=TEST(LMATRIX) ETASQ HOMOGENEITY DESCRIPTIVE
/CRITERIA=ALPHA(.05)
/DESIGN=Gender01 Nl01 Ethical1 CSR1 Ethical1*CSR1.

Ethical1 and CSR1 both being a 0,1 manipulation. 4 groups equally divided over Ethical1CSR0 Ethical0CSR0 Ethical0CSR1 Ethical1CSR1. Is there something i can add to the syntax?

you should have more tables, one of which contains p value.
