Coding a questionnaire in SPSS

Postby imr1911 » Sun Mar 30, 2014 11:15 pm

Hello,

I am a beginner and I am using SPSS version 20.0 I need to analyse the data based on a questionnaire, but I am facing many obstacles.

My questionnaire is as follows:

1- There are 84 respondents including age and gender.

2- 18 questions including: 9 x integrative motivation and 9 x instrumental motivation.

3- 5 likert scale: 5 for strongly agree, 4 for agree, 3 for neither agree nor disagree, 2 for disagree and 1 for strongly disagree

What I need to do is:

1- Make a descriptive analysis.
2- Compare integrative and instrumental motivations (each question separately and preferably in 2 groups)
3- Run a reliability test.
4- Run a t-test or paired-samples t-test
5- Crosstab
6- Means range
7- Any other suggestions??

I will be quite thankful if you can help me on this.

Data fields (columns) would be the variables you describe, 1 for each, then go from there
See the note below
