Negative Crocnbach's alpha when deleted

Postby ella_n » Thu Sep 10, 2015 3:32 am

When I was using SPSS for Cronbach's alpha in different sections of a scale, there was one item in a section that has a negative value. Can it be due to small sample size, or other reasons? What does it actually mean? Thank you <3
