Dear people,
I have a sort question, and I hope you can help me with this.
I want to change in the variable view tab, the type from string to numeric. Al the data in the data view are numbers. If I do this the following message appears: ''Missing value and value label specifications will be cleared''. In the tab data view all the numbers of that question disappear and like the message said the value labels disappear too. Can somebody tell me how I can change the type string to numeric?
