Removing Missing Data input (999)

Postby ggma1989 » Sat Sep 03, 2016 7:38 am

Hey guys,

I have a large data-set of over 10,000 participants. The data were obtained from surveys and during the input process, I have inserted missing variables as 999.

Now that I have to run the data using AMOS, and I will have to remove the 999 missing data to adequately run the programs. That is, deleting the entire row of data of the participant with the 999 missing data.

It would be tedious to remove the data one by one, are there any shortcuts to remove the missing data quickly?

P.S. I have the data in Excel format.

Thank you in advance!!

In SPSS you can look into the SELECT IF statement and for Excel the Global Replace
