SPSS automatically rounding my numbers

Postby LucieMay » Sun Jan 06, 2013 5:35 pm

Okay so I've inputted some data into SPSS from excel that should be to 1 decimal place. However the numbers have been rounded up and I don't know why, I've tried changing the 'decimals' column on variable view but all it does is add '.0'. Does anybody know why this is happening?? I've obviously tried googling to no avail...

Thank you!

Make sure your Excel data begins in row 1 since if there is a header row it could affect the SPSS import

Also, see the Note below
