Multivariate output

Postby Dennisss » Sat Jan 25, 2014 7:11 pm

I'm having a problem with interpreting a SPSS output. I let 2 groups (young and old) perform 4 tasks. They also did a memory test (WAIS). What I want to know is if the score on the memory test relates to the scores on the 4 tasks. I did a multivariate analysis and I attached the output. Now I believe that I need to check the factor1*WAIS Lower-bound column to check for significance of the covariance between the score of both groups and the scores on the test. Now I also want to know if one of the two groups had a significant covariance with the memory test, so I added Group as a between factor. What I struggle with is which value from the output I need to check for this significance. Could anyone here help me? Thank you in advance.

maybe this will help:

also google "spss repeated measures output interpretation" to get some case studies.
