Interpretation Cox-Regression

Postby Olaf » Mon Dec 03, 2012 2:10 pm

I have problems with interpretation of the results of a CoX-regression.

I looked at the breakdown data of a part that has 2 typs (A and B). the mean times between failure are:

ẍ (A)=105,8
ẍ (B)=211,8

Because of the MTBFs I expected a hazard rate that is double the value, but instead I have Exp(B)=19,444. Why??
