Multinomial logistic regression with multiply imputed data

I am trying to run a multinomial logistic regression on an imputed dataset (5 imputations). However, every time I try, SPSS crashes and gives an error that says "An unknown error has terminated communication with the processor. The SPSS Statistics processor is unavailable."

Before I begin running my regressions I split the file by imputation number (data=>split file=>compare groups (imputation number)).

I am running SPSS 22 on a Mac OS X 10.7.5.

Does anyone have any insight into why SPSS keeps crashing? I have been emailing SPSS technical support, but they told me not to split the file prior to running the regressions. However, if I don't split the file, SPSS does not recognize my dataset as an imputed dataset.
