Need help with a short analysis

Postby Danielle9011 » Wed Jan 14, 2015 2:48 pm

Hey there,
I have two main variables in SPSS:
-target: it is a categorical variable and it represents the type of scenario I've shown to the sample. I have a total of 6 scenarios.
-purchase: dummy variable, it represents whether the user did (or did not) buy the product on the website.

Now, the scope of the research is to know whether there is a significant difference among the groups. I've been asking and someone suggested a chi-square test, while others suggested the ANOVA.

I would like to know which one is the best one and (in both analysis) which is the parameter that represents the statistical significance of the study.

Thanks a lot!!!!!

what do you mean by both analyses? I assume you have 1 analysis right?

look at this website to see if you can figure it out yourself, if not, come back here and explain your doubt.

regarding the parameter, once you know what test you can use, I reccomend to look up a step by step case study that guides you through the output.
these are avaiable for the test you need.
