Suitable test ??

Postby Astars5 » Mon Feb 08, 2016 11:13 am

Hi, I'm conducting a study involving 24 participants. Each participant is involved in 1 of 3 exercise interventions (3 different durations). So 8 participants taking part in each intervention. Each participant is completing a questionnaire pre and post intervention. Hopefully I have made it clear enough, not sure if its repeated measures as each participant only partakes in one intervention.

Any help be anybody would be really appreciated, thank you

what level are the variables from your questionnaire? i.e., ordinal, nominal scale...

you probably need repeated measures with intervention as factor, but you probably also have way to few participants.

Questionnaire is ordinal, all questions are 5 point likert scale. Thanks

If you then use those ordinal questions to compute a scale, you can indeed use repeated measures.
otherwise, you have to use multiple nonparametric tests.
