Survival analysis

Postby tim1 » Tue Apr 26, 2016 10:45 am

I have a large dataset with multiple measurements about smoking behaviour and am using SPSS 24. Now I want to use a survival analysis to determine whether people started smoking after T0. To do this I need a time variable, but I can't seem to find or create one. Second I need the event and all I have are 6 variables (measurements) where I can only fill in one variable.
I was thinking I should date the measurement variables, but I'm getting nowhere with that.

I tried searching the internet, but I must be typing the wrong question since I can't seem to find the answer.

I hope you can help me,
