Mahalanobis and Cooks Distance

Postby Ninsae » Mon Jun 13, 2016 3:38 pm

Hi all,
I ma trying to detect outliers in my data and used both Mahalanobis and Cook's distance.
Mahalanobis indicates that about 2% of my data are outliers. Cook's distance indicates no problems at all.
What do I do now? Why this discrepancy?

Thanks for the help!!

Initially do a comparison search for these two, they can have different results depending on the data
