Hello,

I have run my hierarchical regression model that includes the 6 predictors (centred), control variables (bipolar, schizophrenia, anti-depressants, alcohol and drugs), child sexual abuse, gender and age, and the interactions using the centred variables.

I have then re-run the same model and selected the bootstrapping option. However, the only output that I generate using the bootstrapping option is Descriptives and the Pearson correlation coefficients.

Is this correct? There is probably an easy explanation but at this stage I cannot see it.

When I selected the bootstrapping option and ran my model, I was expecting the same output tables when I run my original hierarchical regresssion model but adjusted for bootstrapping.

Cheers,

Michael

Hello,

My study to fulfil the requirements of a BSocSci (Hons) in psychology. My research topic is Understanding Hypersexuality: Assessing Impulsivity, Sexual Inhibition/Sexual Excitation, Depression, Anxiety and Associated Personality Domains.

I have the following control variables; bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anti-depressants, alcohol and drugs, child sexual abuse, gender and age. Six predictors variables - sexual inhibition1, sexual inhibition2, depression, anxiety, impulsivity, which have been centred. I also am looking at the interactions involving the centred predictor variables.

I am using a Window Vista operating system.

In addition, I am using SPSS version 20 that was downloaded through the University of New England, Australia where I am studying.

I can't see where the posting guidelines are, I am sure there are some, but I am new to the forum

Hopes that helps,

Michael
