staggered entry in kaplan-meier survival analysis

Postby achang65 » Mon Feb 04, 2013 10:06 pm

Hi all,

I am trying to analyze survival times of bird nestlings using radio telemetry data.

I tagged birds on different dates and I need to use the kaplan-meier method with staggered entry
(Pollock et al. 1989; http://www.auburn.edu/~grandjb/wildpop/ ... ._1989.pdf).

I am having trouble with the staggered entry part...Does anyone know how to do this in SPSS?

Thank you,
Alex

What do you mean by staggered data?
K-M methodology is used precisely when subjects entry times are different.
How is your data organized?
