Conjoint analysis

Postby nouk » Wed Feb 20, 2013 3:15 pm

Hi all,

i really need an expert to enlighten me about conjoint analysis. I have a questionnaire with 1 question with 7 characteristics that demands filling with ranks from most to least important characteristic (1 most to 7 least important). Is conjoint analysis applicable in such a case?

Thanks in advance!

If I understand and you want the respondent to rank the characteristics (levels in conjoint language, e.g., Color: Blue) then NO, the traditional conjoint model isn't designed for that but there is adaptive which could be. SPSS only deals with the traditional model.
