Defining interactions (contrasts) in Analysis of Variance

Postby neuroMadness » Tue Jun 11, 2013 11:07 am

I would like to run a UIANOVA or GLM with two factors; each factor having two levels. So if {x, y} is the first factor and {1, 2} the second, I would like to test whether the difference x1-x2 is significantly different to the difference y1-y2. I am trying to figure out what the LMATRIX coefficients need to be in this case but I have had no luck so far. Any ideas or suggestions will be really appreciated.
