Currently I'm working on my master thesis. I'm investigating a specific type of brain cancer in children, medulloblastoma. After surgery some of the patients develop mutism, which means that they cannot speak for a while. I'm investigating if this mutism has an effect on intelligence. However, I am not sure which analysis I need to compute.
I have three types of intelligence outcomes (TIQ, VIQ and PIQ). These three are measured at different moments, varying between one and three times. These variables are continues.
Furthermore I have the variable mutism. This one is categorical, with 'yes' or 'no'.
I also want to take radiotherapy as a covariate to investigate if this might influence the IQ scores as well.
First I was thinking to compute a MANCOVA. But since I have three different measure moments I wasn't sure anymore if this is the right analysis.
Could someone help me and tell me which analysis is should perform?
Thanks in advance!
