Quantitative data-analysis

Postby kbs14 » Sat Feb 01, 2014 4:30 pm

Hello everyone,

I am working on quantitative analysis of a set of data using SPSS. I am stuck with the last part, I will be extremely thankful is someone can help me out a bit.

Here are the research questions:

- Is there a gender difference regarding work satisfaction?
- Is there a gender difference regarding work satisfaction, when ‘neutralising’ the potential influence of neuroticism on job satisfaction?
- Is there a relationship between work satisfaction and psychological ill-health?
- Is there a relationship between neuroticism and psychological ill-health?
- Which of these two relationships is stronger when examined jointly: the relationship between job satisfaction and psychological ill-health, or the relationship between neuroticism and psychological ill-health?

How do I do this on SPSS? (I am using IBM SPSS 21)

Thank you!

please provide more info on your data (e.g., type of variables [nominal, continuous] etc).
