Creating descriptive stats tables

Postby jopi » Sun Feb 09, 2014 8:20 pm

Hi

want to report baseline stats (for around 15 different categories) in a single table for 2 groups.

I'd like to include both continuous and categorical variables in one table. Where continuous variables are reported - mean (SD), where skewed - median (x-y), and where categorical - % (x/n).

How can I present this in one table with only only two columns for the 2 groups, ie. without separate columns for mean, standard deviation, median, %.

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Jopi.

run the tests separately and create your table in word or excel.

or, use aggregate to compute each of these, and then put aggregated vars in a table.
