I have a large data set which contains some missing values. I would like to replace those missing values with the mean individual scores of their respective measures. Below is a screenshot of an example within my data set.
Note that RSE_8 and RSE_8r in the third row are missing values. I intend to ignore RSE_8, as the total score (RSE_T, which is a summed score) uses the _n
r values (i.e., those which were reverse-scored) when applicable. I would like RSE_8r (and all other missing values) to be the mean of the other RSE (and all other measures) items for each individual. In other words, using the example, I would like RSE_8r to be the mean of all appropriate RSE items within the third row. Is there an easy way for SPSS to do this for all missing values?
Many thanks for your time!
