Correlation and scatter matrix

Postby Hyprocup147 » Fri Jul 18, 2014 1:45 pm

Is it useful to include (categorical) dummy-variables in a correlation and/or scatter matrix?

I thought it was only useful to include quantitative/numerical variables but not 100% sure about this.

Thanks for the help!

There is discussion about that. Some people do it, I think it makes no sense whatsoever.
There are published articles that use this approach, but I prefer doing t-tests with dichotomous variables....
