representativeness test

Postby eltorro » Sat Sep 20, 2014 12:19 pm

hey guys. i am new with spss and im having some trouble with the following notions. i need to test the following things:

a) females = p%
b) age = n
c) nationality (only yes of no for nationality N) = n% nationality N
d) f field of study = x%fieldX, y%fieldY, z%fieldZ
e) income = same with percentages for income intervals

i figured out how to do age. however, i am unsure how to approach the rest of them. i was thinking of a z-test for gender and nationality and a K-S for field of study and income.

however, i cannot get my head around spss, and i can't get a p value.

can anyone please help me?

Could you be more specific about what you want to test exactly?
It is not clear to me yet.

So please indicate;
- what level your variables are
- what you want to test exactly (in words).
