Creating box plots

Postby axtron » Wed Apr 29, 2015 12:57 pm

Hello,

I have never used SPSS but want to create box plots for air quality data I am (trying to) process. I am sure that this is so simple to do but I do not find SPSS in intuitive.

My data is minute averages of particulate matter air pollution and I have more than five hours of data to present in a box plot. Too much to make sense of in one graph if I were to present each minute. So I want to have the box plot present 15 minute averages from the data but for the life of me I cannot find a way to get it to do it.

Hoping someone can help with an explanation please.

Thank you.

EDIT: sorry I did not include key info. OS is Win8.1 (it's a Mac but SPSS on Mac is refusing to play ball) running SPSS 22
