SPSS Beginner Question - Removing a Response from a Variable

Postby dearaudio » Thu Aug 06, 2015 2:28 pm

Hi all! Newbie with a question here.

I am working on a syntax for a simple survey, and the survey has questions with 3 options for answer, A, B and C. I have a base syntax that I am working off of that will build custom tables for each question (variable). I want to modify this so that it only brings me responses A and B for every question. Can someone tell me how I can do this?

Thanks so much!

you can indicate that C is missing, or better yet, create a new variable using recod into and only recode options A and B
