creating a new column from several columns

Postby abolotsky » Mon Jan 25, 2016 6:18 pm

Hi,
My survey has 13 questions, categorised to 4 groups of subjects.
I want to create a new column for each subject.
example: columns 1, 5, and 6 represent the subject "emotional approach".
I want to create a processed column "emotional approach".
The data that will appear in the cell of the new column will be the means of the cells of columns 1, 5, and 6.
Please help, I did id two years ago, and forgot how to do it.
Thanks,
Ariel

I've downloaded the latest version.

My study checks the contact between students and their teachers regarding their approach towards the Hebrew language (taught by the teachers).

30 students per teacher and 3 teachers (90 students).
The survey contains 13 questions, divided to subjects (approach towards the language, towards its speakers, etc.)

Can you be more specific with the instructions?
