SPSS Scatterplot: How to combine/subsume values under just one label, e.g. ">200"

Postby vic2207 » Sat Mar 19, 2016 1:22 pm

Hi there everyone,

I've got this massive problem with my scatterplot on spss. I've drawn time (hours) on the x-axis versus laboratory sampling measures on the y-axis. I have very few time values exceeding 200 hours on my x-axis, so I'd like to subsume them under e.g. ">200", so that my scatterplot doesn't get stretched as bad as it does at the moment while still not losing data.

Can you help me with this, please? Answers are so(!!) much appreciated.

then recode all >200 into 200 and just run scatterplot, manually adjust scale later.
