The data which has been collected was firing differently shaped airgun pellets into ballistic gel at 3 different distances and then measuring the penetration. I want to be able to find out which shape pellet caused the most penetration at each distance. I have tried to split the data into groups and do it that way but I still don't get the results I'm looking for. there are 3 pellets, rounded, pointed and flat. And then 3 distances, 1m,4m and 8m. Ideally I would like to be able to see Flat pellet penetration at 1m, 4m and then 8m. and then the same for each other pellet. I want to be able to see if there is a significant difference between the amount of penetration each shape of pellet causes so that it can be determined for example that the pointed pellet causes the most damage from longer distances.
Any advice? how would I do this within spss stats?/
