Multiple Respondants

Postby shinesprite » Wed Mar 23, 2016 3:55 pm

Hi guys, Im using SPSS 22 and need some help.
Im analyzing a questionnaire investigating veganism and vegetarianism. Theres four main reasons that people would go (in this questionnaire anyway), so I have asked people to identify that and there's a few specific questions related to them - as in animal rights, environment, health etc.
I then have general questions relating to their diet choice: on a scale of one to 5, how difficult to you find product labeling etc.
So I want to see if there's any difference in how people score things depending if they went vegan for their health or if they went vegan for animals.
How can I make spss understand that the reason for veganism carries through to how they score things?
Does this make sense??
I need any help!!

so make a variable that is 1 for health and 0 for animal, and run some t-tests (or other tests for different types of data).
