COUNTING (SUMMING) TIME FROM A VARIABLE

Postby prizn90 » Wed Jun 29, 2016 10:42 am

Hi all!

Im new to this forum, and I'm having a difficulty doing something special.

https://s32.postimg.org/437cy38d1/as_obiska_in_rute.png

Here's a link of a picture.

This is actually MySql database converted to SPSS where im trying to analyze webpage visit on different variables. In the picture you'll see variables 'ip', 'date_time' and 'route'. For every time an IP has clicked on a page (search button or any other button possible on the webpage), date_time puts an exact date of when did that event occur. What i want to do is:

1. Take every IP (114.182.107.131 as one) and calculate SUM of time spent on a webpage, what should be 8 seconds looking from first IP
2. Record way of clicking on the page (route), where i'd like to know if there are any singnificances from people flowing through the webpage (what is the most common "way" users scroll/search/click through this webpage)

I hope i've been clear enough, if anyone can help me, please do!

IP and route are nominals, date_time is a scale measure. I'm using SPSS version 20

Thank you all!
