Anyone can kindly offer me a help on how to transforming categorical variables into a single variables

Dear experts,
I am very green on running SPSS and stuck in a problem that could not be solved even I had browsed many websites for that.

I am conducting a research for workplace violence that I quoted
1.) verbal abuse (0=no, 1= yes)
2.) sexual harassment (0=no, 1= yes)
3.) racial harassment (0=no, 1= yes)

As the numbers of observation of sexual and racial harassment are small
so I want to group all those (1+2+3) as a variable :psychological abuse
Then i will run binary logistic regression to find any association between sociodemorgraphic factors and psychological abuse.

How to transform these categorical variables into a single variable as psychological abuse (0=no, 1= yes)
? as when I recode /compute them by adding them up, value label can up to 1+1+1=3 for answering yes to three of those abuses and my frequecy tables will show items as 2 or 3 as i only quote psychological abuse (0=no, 1= yes)
but what i want is simply the number of participants yes or no for psychological abuse.

Hope anyone can offer me a kind help. I m really at lost! Thank you
