this is my first post here in this forum and I want to thank anyone able to help me.
I am working in SPSS 22.0. The type of research is clinical research in medicine.
I am dealing with two variables, the first one represents functional classes and can take values like A,B,C,D.
The second one is a categorical variable about following or not guidelines (1 yes 0 no).
My aim is to see if guidelines are followed in a different way in patients with different severity of disease.
I have used cross tabs and chi square function but i am not sure it is correct.
I have attached the graph and the output.
I have always wondered if you can use chi square function to explore correlations between variables in a table not 2x2. And if so, how to interpret results.
I hope someone is so kind to give an hand.
