Dummy coding in Factorial ANOVA

Postby Sveinnarna » Sun Nov 26, 2017 11:23 pm

Hi, im new here and need help. I am doing an assignment where i have to answer three questions with Factorial ANOVA.

1. If word recalling is different depending on age.
2. Whether word recalling is different depending on specific method used to recall word (0 = counting, 1 = rhyming, 2 = adjective, 3 = imagery, 4 = intentional).
3. If there is an interaction between age and type of method.

I have to compare two age groups: Older (aged 55-65) - younger (aged 18-30). I was wondering if i need to do dummy coding, and if so, what do i have to do?

SPSS dataset:
Eysenck memory dataset.sav
